A few questions to ask when you choose your Life Coach -
1. What is Life Coaching? Life Coaching is a professional collaboration between coach and client. The client’s agenda is the focus and it is based on the client becoming aware of what limits they have imposed upon themselves with internal thinking processes. Many times these are automatic or unconscious and based on early experiences, interpretations, and assumptions.
2. Who is this type of coaching right for? Individuals or organizations in the midst of any of life’s transitions.
3. How will I know if I am getting what I want from coaching? The focus of any type of coaching is based on desired results and success in any area of life. The measure would be whatever the client says they desire in their life, taking actions in that direction and staying on track with the coach as the accountability partner. For example, if the desired result was for more peace in one’s life. How is this measurable? There are tangible and measurable outcomes that are identified ahead of time.
